A love story that was long awaited to be seen on the big screen — Babylicious — is finally all set to release in February 2023. At the beginning of a New Year, filmmaker Essa Khan has revealed a melodious and soulful track Mann Ranjhan from the film to let fans sway to the tune and feel the love.
Directed and produced by Essa Khan, the film stars former couple Syra Yousuf and Shahroz Sabzwari in the lead. The official description of the story on YouTube is “Omar gets thrown into the real world when he gets dumped by his love Sabiha for being just a boy in love. Our hero fights his undeniable fate to prove love is the strongest force in the world.”
Mann Ranjhan expresses the the tag line of the film that “a true love story never has an ending”. The lasting impression of the song and sincerity of its lyrics convey the message of eternal love.

The song begins with refreshing mandoline that takes us back down the memory lane when one has experienced love and the tingling feelings that come with it. Singer Nauman Shafi is a good find as his tone gives a soothing feel to the romantic ballad. Rahma Abid Ali has lent voice to the female part of the beautiful composition. The song is a memorable addition to the list of melodious love songs from Pakistani films.
The video from the film hasn’t been out yet, however, it would be mesmerizing to see the lead couple Syra and Shahroz with this tune in the background.

Late lyricist Shakeel Sohail has written the beautiful ballad while the music arrangement is by Adrian David Emmanuel. Guitars are played by Rahil Mirza, eastern percussions are by Kashif Ali, flute is played by Hassan Badshah and mandoline is by Kamran Akhtar.
The cast includes Ankur Rathee, Aadi Adeal Amjad, Shehzeen Rahat, Sabeena Syed, Adnan Jaffer, Aamir Qureshi & Mani. Executive produced is M.A Khan and W. Zaka.
The teaser is out and reveals that the film will be a sweet love story. The film is slated to release on Valentine’s Day this year.
